Dental Sealants
Like the name suggests, dental sealants seal the chewing surface of molars (back teeth) to prevent tooth decay.
If you have deep pits and grooves in your molars, dental plaque is more likely to accumulate in areas that are hard to reach with a toothbrush. Dental sealants are often recommend for children, but can also be used on adults. Click here to learn more about our dental sealant treatments.
Gum Disease Treatments
Whether you have gingivitis or periodontal disease, our dentists are dedicated to helping you maintain good oral health.
Gingivitis is reversible by having your teeth professionally cleaned every six months and adopting a healthy oral hygiene routine. If gingivitis develops into periodontal disease, our dentists will recommend scaling and root planing to prevent the disease from progressing further. Oral Examinations
We recommend you schedule an oral examination every 6 months with your dentist. During your oral exam, your dentist will be able to check for signs of gum disease, cavities, oral cancer, and other oral health issues.
A dental exam is the best way to protect your oral health because it gives your dentist the chance to catch small issues before they grow into larger problems. Click here to learn more about our oral examination services.
Oral Cancer Screenings
According to the National Institutes of Health, approximately 37,000 people are diagnosed with mouth cancer each year. About 8,000 of these diagnoses result in death.
Thankfully, our dentists are able to do oral cancer screenings to catch mouth cancer in its early stages so you have the best chance of survival. Click here to learn more about our oral cancer screens.
Electric Toothbrushes
When you brush your teeth, you remove dental plaque that puts you at risk for tooth decay and gum disease. During your next dental checkup, our dentists may ask what toothbrush you are using.
We have found that patients benefit greatly when they switch to an electric toothbrush. Click here to learn more about our electric toothbrushes.
Digital Impressions & X-Rays
If you’ve ever had braces or needed tooth restorations, you probably remember the pink goop your dentist used to take impressions of your teeth.
Thankfully, our dentists take digital impressions with CEREC. These dental impressions are then used to create crowns, implants, and other restorations. Click here to learn more about our digital impressions and X-rays dentists.
